Kevin Day

Award-winning comedian and writer Kevin Day returns to The Humourology Podcast to continue his conversation about comedy, careers, and how to captivate a crowd. Day is master of engaging audiences, and he says that the key to a great performance on the stage and in your business is to adjust to your audience.

“As you do as a comedian, you in your head, you start a routine, you go, I’ve got this wrong, I’m going to change it sometimes that’s the bravest thing to do in any walk of life.”

Day has built a successful career on his ability to captivate crowds with his comedy. But how does the life of a performer translate to the life of a businessperson? Day says that all the qualities are the same. Whether you are making an audience laugh or leading a company to success, Day says that you need to make people feel like they want to be there. When delivering your piece, Day says its best to approach your audience with enthusiasm.

Day’s career in comedy has taught him the value of humour. While connecting to crowds with comedy, Day has also learned to connect to himself with a laugh.

“Humour has gradually helped get rid of my imposter syndrome and my lack of self-confidence and my insecurity about background.”

Kevin Day’s legendary writing and stand-up career is chocked full of comedic and creative tips and tricks to help you lead and listen with laughter.
