The Harris-Trump Debate: What Their Body Language Really Meant, According To “An Expert”

Share Article

In my interview for Elle Magazine, I explain how humour, body language, and presence shaped the conversation about the Harris-Trump debate.

Immediately after the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump debate, I was inundated with requests to comment on their speech patterns, communication skills, and body language. As always, the debate wasn’t just about what was said but what was unsaid—the subtleties of posture, gestures, and facial expressions tell their own story. In this very interesting article from the esteemed Elle magazine, I share some of my thoughts on the debate, from a Humourology perspective, delving into how humour, body language, and presence shaped the conversation and the public perception of both candidates.

In the world of political debates, what is left unsaid can often speak louder than words. As we see in this analysis, humour, confidence, and body language play an essential role in winning hearts and minds. The Humourology approach—using humour to disarm, engage, and connect—ultimately creates a winning attitude. While policy matters, it’s the human side of communication that leaves a lasting impression. Kamala Harris’s use of laughter and confident body language highlights how the Humourology attitude can effectively disarm opponents, foster connection, and, most importantly, win the debate.

See you next Tuesday.

Warmest,
