“A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men”
– Roald Dahl
For this week’s Humourology podcast I had the tables turned on me. I was expecting to interview renowned psychoanalyst, psychologist and author of The Happiness Habit, Brian Colbert.
What I didn’t know, was that he was in league with my producer and I ended up being interviewed about the roots of Humourology. Brian is a brilliant man and a good friend and he put me through my paces whilst gently taking the piss.
I hope that you enjoy the irreverence of the interview because it personifies the essence of Humourology. The mission of Humourology is to take yourself and others less seriously in pursuit of happier, healthier and more productive workplace. Brian and I discuss the psychological benefits that a bit of laughter can bring to any business.
“If you find something funny, you will go with it, so at a very basic level for business, it’s the ultimate bonding tool.”
I hope you join us for a lovely and personal conversation that is filled with laughs. My guest (or rather my host), Brian Colbert, brings the heat in the hope of getting to the bottom of all of this Humourology hooey to help you heal through the holidays.
“Humourology is about bringing back the playfulness that we all had as children. When we get into the serious business of business, we lose that ability to play.”
“Play is the highest form of research”
Albert Einstein
We at Humourology headquarters hope that you are having a healthy and happy holiday.
Thanks again for all the very kind reviews. Please keep them coming and share the laughter with your friends.
Happy New Year!
See you next Tuesday.
Warmest,
