I am delighted and honoured to announce that I have once again been selected as a judge for this year’s British Podcast Awards! It’s truly exciting to dive into the rich, diverse world of British podcasting and experience firsthand the best content this amazing medium has to offer. As they don’t say, you shouldn’t judge a pod by its cover. As a judge, I never do that—I always delve beneath the surface to find the real gems!
Being part of the judging panel is not just an honour but a joyous responsibility. It’s about recognising and celebrating a unique art form that has brought me immense fulfilment and joy over the years. Everyone at Humourology headquarters is thrilled to see the podcasting landscape flourish, with the British Podcast Awards playing a crucial role in promoting this incredible form of entertainment. It’s fantastic to witness podcasts growing bigger and more influential in people’s lives each year.
Humourology is particularly proud to be associated with the British Podcast Awards, and it’s a testament to the high regard in which our podcast is held. The synergy between the Awards and Humourology feels almost inevitable—like we are two sides of the same coin, united in our passion for humour and insightful conversations.
On this judging journey, I am reminded of a saying: “A podcast is a window into the minds and hearts of its creators.” It’s a privilege to have a front-row seat to these stories and voices, each episode a new experience. So, here’s to another year of discovering the best of British podcasting—call me judgmental if you will, but I’m eager to find the finest in the field!
